Position Overview We are looking for creative, outgoing, and motivated Content Creators & Community Marketing Interns to help grow ToledoRetail.org through engaging social media content and local business storytelling. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in: * Content creation * Social media marketing * Influencer marketing * Photography & videography * Local business promotion * Digital media * Community engagement * Branding and online growth Creators will help showcase local businesses, restaurants, products, events, and community stories through reels, posts, interviews, walkthroughs, reviews, and creative local content. Responsibilities * Create engaging Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video content * Visit or feature local businesses and events * Create reels, stories, photos, and promotional posts * Help promote Toledo-area businesses and community initiatives * Write captions, marketing content, and business spotlights * Assist with social media engagement and online community interaction * Help identify local trends, events, and businesses to feature * Collaborate on marketing campaigns and promotional ideas * Assist with onboarding and promoting new ToledoRetail.org listings * Help grow awareness and traffic for ToledoRetail.org Preferred Skills * Comfortable creating social media content and short-form videos * Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Canva, or CapCut * Strong communication and storytelling skills * Creative mindset with interest in local businesses and community culture * Basic photography, video editing, or graphic design experience is a plus * Comfortable working independently and generating ideas * Experience with AI tools or social media analytics is a bonus What You’ll Gain * Real-world content creation and marketing experience * Portfolio-building opportunities * Exposure to local business marketing and community promotion * Flexible scheduling * Networking opportunities with Toledo-area businesses * Experience working with social media campaigns, branding, and creator marketing * Potential future paid creator opportunities Schedule Flexible part-time schedule.
